Volunteer
Besides donations, we welcome all who would like to provide help and support in the form of volunteering at our classes and events. As we are constantly seeking new ways to improve and ease the lives of the families of disabled youths, we welcome any assistance from professionals in any field. We especially need those with any specialized skills/experiences in, including but not limited to:
- Teaching
- Physical Therapy
- Allopathic or Osteopathic Medicine
- Stimulant Art and Dance
- Music Therapy
- Administrative and Technical skills (ie. planning, computer skills, editorial and journalistic skills)
In addition, we welcome students of all grade levels to join the group of student volunteers already in our organization. We have established a high school volunteer program headed by our volunteer leaders who are chosen based on experience, abilities, commitment and passion. Volunteering in our organization not only affords community service hours, but also provides chances for interacting with great people and the acquisition of various leadership skills.
