Aimee Huang

Aimee Huang is the president of FFDY and was one of the founders of the organization in 2004.

“Simply put, Aimee gets things done,” said Ben Su, past president of FFDY. “She is very well connected in the Chinese American community, and her years of experience in advocating for disabled children really works to FFDY’s advantage.”

She knows well the challenges, joys and sorrow of caring for a disabled child. Her son Wesley, who had cerebral palsy, passed away in September 2012 at the age of 25.

“Although he could not express himself in words, he was always very strong through sickness and challenge. He showed unfailing courage to conquer life – to face life’s challenges.”

Aimee’s enthusiasm, desire to help others, and continuing dedication FFDY make her an inspiration to all who know her.

“She is a remarkable woman,” board member Tim Lynch said. “If you know Aimee Huang, you know a friend.”
